“ Shared a nice lunch yesterday at Rockwood Britt’s thanks to our server who pointed out the half sandwich and soup offer which was not on the menu but on a little placard on the table. There were four sandwiches and three soups to choose from. We tried different ones of each and both thought they were excellent! A hidden gem that we would definitely try again! ”

“ Only halfway through brunch, sharing the fish cakes Benny... Forgot to take a photo before starting, and this is just my half of the Benny. Excellent. The fish cakes were phenomenal - the rest was excellent too, but the fish cakes were a real standout. Very tasty! My wife had a brunch Caesar. She quite enjoyed it, but didn't have much else to say about it. The French Toast (coconut) suffered a similar fate as the Benny... The presentation was lovely, but we tore it apart before I remembered to take photos. For reference: I always drown my sweet breakfasts in maple syrup, but I actually said, out loud: this doesn't even *need* maple syrup (EDIT: maple syrup did not make it worse - still delicious!). Not notable for ultrafast service, but very reasonable - and let's be honest: if you wanted a fast breakfast you should have gone to Timmy's or McDonald's. Positive experience, would recommend. ”

“ I was here on Sunday for a brunch. The food was good. The wait time is varied depending on how busy they are. But if you are hungry, there is a menu online you can look up before hand. So, you can order the food early. The parking is tricky like other places in the area. However, it was free on Sunday for street parking. ”

“ Great gravy and panko fried pickles. Didn't look much like a pub on the inside (very modern compared to the surrounding neighborhood) but the patio in back was very nice. Excellent burgers too ”

“ Walked in at 5:30 during a busy time and asked for seating on the back patio—which I didn’t even know existed until I showed up. It’s a cool, hidden patio out back, fenced in for privacy, which I loved. My partner and I started off with the spinach dip and the BBQ chicken nachos (Thursdays are buy one app, get one 50% off). It was my first time here, and unfortunately, I was so hungry that we dove in and cleaned both plates before I could even get a photo. The spinach dip with toasted baguette pieces was absolutely incredible—I wish more places served it this way. The nachos were also great; they were made with kettle chips, which added a unique flavor and officially stole my heart. 10/10 appetizers. Now onto the mains: I had the Smokehouse Burger with a Caesar salad. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the burger, but that could just be personal preference. I did love the bacon and the candied jalapenos, but the patty itself was a bit bland. If I’m not mistaken, it was a frozen patty—but I’m not docking too many points for that alone. The Caesar salad was a pleasant surprise, made with kale and spinach, real bacon (always bonus points), parmesan cheese, avocado, and croutons. The flavor was solid, and I liked the combination, though it may not be for everyone. 23 for the burger and a 5 add-on for the salad. My partner said the chicken burger tasted fantastic but was definitely messy and hard to eat (she’s 4’11”, so that may have been a her problem). The fries were okay, but the turkey gravy was very thin and overly salty for her—she’s usually a gravy fiend, so that was surprising. They had a good selection of non-alcoholic drinks, which I always give bonus points for. Our server was great, and even during a busy evening, the food came out promptly. A little pricey, but I’ll be back for the appetizers alone. Also need to try that Nashville hot chicken sandwich next time! ”

“ I really loved visiting Brits Pub and Eatery for the first time.. I heard lots of good reviews on social media. It was Burger Week in Saint John. This was day 2 for me and loved the place..nice setting.. they were part of Burger Week.. and had tempting options.. I went with the Jailhouse Jam( or something like that) .I really enjoyed it..one part almost felt wrong to eat Peanut butter and jam and banana on a beef burger..but with the bacon and other toppings every bite was hmmmm ..wow..tasty..it was good and had great fun having it..the gravy was homemade Turkey gravy and delicious..the fries were crispy and awesome..I enjoyed a few before going for my first bite of Burger..great experience..already making plans to return with family. ”

“ Ashley our waitress was AMAZING! Busy like it was on graduation night, she made sure everyone at our table was looked after! The food was delicious!! I ordered the Fish and chips, offered in battered, blackened or panko crumbs.Tartar sauce, homemade with an apple slaw! Perfectly cooked, homemade French fries! My daughter ordered the PB&J burger ! Amazing! Roy who showed us to our reserved table was amazing! Hard working crew! We have been there many times for breakfast and will definitely return and HIGHLY recommend!! ”
